  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Robust garlic flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (ground) For a gentle kick of heat
For the Sauce

  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese (finely grated) Adds salty, nutty flavor
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (finely chopped) For garnish
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder Extra garlic flavor
  • to taste salt Adjust seasoning to preference

Method

Marinating the Wings
  1. Place chicken wings in a large mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 3 hours, or overnight for best results.
Preheat the Deep Fryer
  1. Preheat the deep fryer to 180°C (355°F). This is crucial for achieving crispy wings.
Frying the Chicken Wings
  1. Fry the marinated chicken wings in batches until golden brown, crispy, and fully cooked through. Check doneness with a meat thermometer.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a large heatproof bowl, combine melted butter, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and garlic powder. Adjust salt to taste.
Toss and Serve
  1. Once the wings are cooked, immediately toss them in the buttery-parmesan mixture and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, toss them in a mixture of cornstarch and flour before frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat using an oven or air fryer.
