Method
Preparation
- Crumble the 300 g of Rührkuchen into a bowl using your hands.
- Add 150 g of cream cheese, 50 g of soft butter, and 60 g of powdered sugar to the crumbled cake. Mix until smooth.
- Roll small portions of the mixture into balls about the size of a ping pong ball (18-20 pieces). Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Melt 20 g of chocolate and dip the ends of the cake pop sticks in it. Insert the sticks into the center of each cake pop ball.
Decoration
- Knead 100 g of modeling chocolate until soft. Color 2/3 of it black with food coloring. Roll out and cut out bat wings and shape ears.
- From remaining white modeling chocolate, cut out eyes and teeth.
Dipping
- Finely chop 300 g of dark chocolate. Melt 200 g over a double boiler, then stir in the remaining 100 g until smooth.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off.
- Before the chocolate hardens, attach bat wings, ears, and edible eyes.
- Refrigerate to set the chocolate completely.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Consider using different shapes or colors of modeling chocolate.
