  • 50 g soft butter Ensures moist and flavorful cake pops.
  • 60 g powdered sugar Creates sweetness.
Coating and Decorations
  • 300 g dark chocolate Essential for the outer layer.

  • black food coloring For coloring the modeling chocolate.
  • 18-20 pieces cake pop sticks For easy handling and eating.
  • edible eyes (optional) For added personality.

Method

Preparation
  1. Crumble the 300 g of Rührkuchen into a bowl using your hands.
  2. Add 150 g of cream cheese, 50 g of soft butter, and 60 g of powdered sugar to the crumbled cake. Mix until smooth.
  3. Roll small portions of the mixture into balls about the size of a ping pong ball (18-20 pieces). Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Melt 20 g of chocolate and dip the ends of the cake pop sticks in it. Insert the sticks into the center of each cake pop ball.
Decoration
  1. Knead 100 g of modeling chocolate until soft. Color 2/3 of it black with food coloring. Roll out and cut out bat wings and shape ears.
  2. From remaining white modeling chocolate, cut out eyes and teeth.
Dipping
  1. Finely chop 300 g of dark chocolate. Melt 200 g over a double boiler, then stir in the remaining 100 g until smooth.
  2. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off.
  3. Before the chocolate hardens, attach bat wings, ears, and edible eyes.
  4. Refrigerate to set the chocolate completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Consider using different shapes or colors of modeling chocolate.
