Ingredients
Method
Prepare Sauce
- Combine soy sauce and sriracha in a small mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended and smooth.
Cook Beef & Cabbage
- In a large pan, add ground beef and cook over medium-high heat, breaking the meat into crumbles until browned and cooked through.
- Add the coleslaw mix to the pan without draining the fat, stirring until the cabbage wilts, about 5 minutes.
Add Finishings
- Reduce heat to medium-low, stir in the prepared sauce and grated ginger, and let simmer for about a minute. Fold in the sliced scallions and sprinkle with black sesame seeds if desired.
Serve
- Serve immediately while hot, best enjoyed fresh.
Notes
To enhance flavor, use fresh ginger and scallions. Customize the spice level by adjusting the sriracha. Consider using ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
