Method
Preparation
- Start by cutting each chicken wing at the joint to separate the mini wing and the drumette. Place the pieces in a large bowl.
- Sprinkle in the baking powder and pepper, tossing until evenly coated.
Cooking
- Arrange the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket and cook at 210°C (410°F) for 30-35 minutes, shaking the basket every 10 minutes.
Making the Buffalo Sauce
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the hot sauce, butter, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, honey, and salt.
- Microwave for 2-3 minutes, stirring every minute, until the butter is melted and the sauce is integrated.
Prepare the Blue Cheese Sauce
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ingredients for the blue cheese sauce until smooth.
Serving
- Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the Buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve alongside the blue cheese sauce, garnished with carrot and celery sticks.
Notes
Extra crispiness can be achieved by preheating the air fryer. For even coating, consider double-dipping the wings.
