  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Contributes to the structure, giving your pancakes body.
  • 1 cup milk Melds beautifully with the eggs, creating a silky batter.
  • 1 tbsp sugar A touch of sweetness elevates the flavor profile.
  • 1 tsp vanilla Brings warmth and a hint of sweetness.
  • 1/4 tsp salt Enhances overall flavors and balances sweetness.
  • 4 tbsp butter Creates a crispy edge and adds depth of flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450ºF (230ºC).
  2. In a 9X13 inch baking dish, place 4 tablespoons of butter and slide it into the oven to melt.
  3. In a blender, combine the flour, milk, vanilla, salt, sugar, and eggs. Blend until smooth, about 2 minutes.
Baking
  1. Once the butter has melted, carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the blended batter directly into the hot dish.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the pancake is puffy and golden brown.

Notes

For the best results, do not skip blending the batter and keep the oven door closed during baking to prevent deflation. Experiment with flavors by adding lemon zest or cinnamon.
