Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups precooked shredded chicken breast Tender and juicy, the chicken serves as the hearty base for this dish.
  • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce This sauce is the star of the show, providing a sweet and tangy contrast to the richness of the cheese and chicken.
  • 2 large flatbreads Each weighing about 134 grams; these flatbreads are perfectly crispy when baked.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Rich, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, cheddar cheese brings a comforting texture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, toss the precooked chicken with ½ cup of BBQ sauce, setting aside the remaining ¼ cup.
  3. Spread the reserved ¼ cup of BBQ sauce evenly over the two flatbreads.
Assembly
  1. Top each flatbread with an even layer of the shredded BBQ chicken.
  2. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over each flatbread.
Baking
  1. Place the pizzas directly on the racks of your preheated oven or use a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the flatbreads are crispy on the bottom and the cheese is fully melted.
  3. Remove the flatbreads from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in BBQ sauce a few hours prior to cooking. Using a pizza stone can enhance the crispiness of your flatbread.
